There is a Jumble Sale in St Catherine’s Hall on Saturday 25th May opening at 2:00 pm.
Entrance 25p. Refreshments and car parking are available.
Friday Friends meets weekly from 2.00 – 4.00pm every Friday, price £3.50 (carers free), offering a mix of talks, light exercise, singing together, tabletop games or craft activities in a safe, warm and friendly environment – with tea and cakes.

Brush up your general and local knowledge and join in the fun. All genders and ages welcome. Teams are typically 4-6 people, but you don’t have to be in a team to come.

On 10th May, the Rah Rah Theatre will be visiting Friday Friends, at St Catherine’s, to present “Top Hat Tales”.
This is a musical love story based around the famous Broadway musical songs of the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s, sung by stars such as Judy Garland, Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Gene Kelly, Marilyn Monroe, Doris Day and Bing Crosby. The show has been devised to whisk audiences back to this memorable era allowing them to participate and reminisce.
All are welcome – please come and join in the fun. The cost is £3.50 to include the usual refreshments.
Friday Friends starts a littler later than normal that week with refreshments at 2:30pm , but you can still arrive early for lunch in the Café. The Café opens at 10:00am, with the lunch menu starting at 12 noon.
The performance starts at 3:30pm.
The Mother’s Union are hosting a public talk this Wednesday 8th May. They welcome a guest speaker from Thrive – a national charity – who will talk about social and therapeutic horticulture and using gardening to change lives.
All are welcome to the talk in St Catherine’s Hall from 8pm.
The Youth Group is for secondary school aged young adults and meets fortnightly in St Catherine’s Hall from 7:45 to 9:15pm.
