Please join us at St Catherine’s for our Christmas Fair on Saturday 4th December. Doors open at 2:00pm. Lights switch on and Carols are at 3pm.
Come to see Santa, loads of stalls, gifts, games and refreshments.

A huge thank you to everyone who brought a shoebox to St Catherine’s for our Shoebox Sunday service.
We took over 40 shoeboxes to the collection depot on Monday morning. Along with the on-line donations, they’ll be sending Good News and Great Joy to less fortunate children around the world.

Please join us at 4pm on Sunday 5th December for our ever popular Christingle Service. As well as making Christingles, we’ll be raising money for the Children’s Society.

If you wish to make an on-line donation, please go to

Please note our Sunday Morning Service starts at the earlier time of 9:30am for Remembrance Sunday – 14th November.
This is to allow time for those who wish attend the 11am Remembrance service at Tilehurst Triangle.

We are holding a prayer day for Climate Change on Saturday 6th November from 10am to 4pm with a break for lunch (bring your own) between 1 & 2 pm.
The day will be split into five one-hour sessions, led by different individuals, so you can come or go as you like, and changeovers will be on the hour every hour – please come for as long or as short a time as you have available.
The sessions will follow the theme of Genesis, and there will be some information sharing, as well as guidance, worship, time for prayerful reflection, and intercession.
This day takes place half way through the COP26 Climate Change conference, which we have been regularly praying for, for several months.
Please come and participate – God hears our prayers.
Fridays have become rather busy, and on occasions the waiting time to fulfil orders have taken a little longer than we would of liked.
During November we are going to trial a slimmed down menu to hopefully streamline the whole process.
We will monitor feedback and see how this trial goes. Soup, jackets, daily special, kids meal, and cakes still on offer.

Our next Cats Cartoon Club is on Saturday 6th November at 4pm in the Church Hall.
We’re watch the Lego Batman Movie which we hope will be enjoyed by old and young alike. Whether you like Batman or not this is a great opportunity to meet together and laugh at him.
You can see the trailer for the film here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGQUKzSDhrg
