Please join us to explore the Christmas Story at 3:30pm on Christmas Eve. We’ll be doing it ‘Messy Church’ style through craft activities, story and song .
We encourage children to come dressed as a Nativity character. Some dressing up clothes will also be available at church.
A reminder that the Café is closed on Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd December. It will be open for light refreshments on the 28th & 29th.
There is no Thursday Midday Prayers on Thursday 21st. It will resume on Thursday 28th.
Friday Friends is taking a Christmas Break and not meeting on Friday 22nd & 29th. It will resume on January 5th.
Please join us for our Carol by Candlelight service – this Sunday 17th December at 6:00pm.
For all ages, followed by seasonal refreshments.
Sunday 10th December is a joint service at the Cornwell Centre where we’ll join members of Cornwell Community Church.
Rev Christine Bainbridge will be leading a communion service.
In response to previous feedback, the service will be at the normal Cornwell time of 10.30 for 11.00 am. So come early for cake and real coffee.
Other services in the parish that day are an 8am service at St Catherine’s and the Carols in Calcot service in the afternoon. We hope to see you at one or more of these services.

This coming Saturday, we are combining our normal Messy Church with our ever popular Christingle service. We’ll be making Christingles together as part of our normal “Fun, Faith and Food”.
Don’t know what a Christingle is or how to make one ? Don’t worry – come along to find out !
As we enter the season of Advent, we’ll also be thinking about those less fortunate than ourselves – particularly those helped by the Children’s Society and we’ll be having a collection for them. If you’ve picked up a collection box from St Catherine’s, don’t forget to bring it along.
After our celebration, we hope you’ll stay with us for drinks, cakes & mince pies.

Friday Friends meets weekly from 2.00 – 4.00pm every Friday, price £3.50 (carers free), offering a mix of light exercise, singing together, tabletop games and craft activities in a safe, warm and friendly environment – with tea and cakes.

Please join us at St Catherine’s for our Christmas Fair on Saturday 25th November. Doors open at 2:00pm. Admission for children is free, for adults we ask for a donation into Santa’s sack.
