We’re launching this year’s Thy Kingdom Come initiative with an Ascension Day service at St Catherine’s, 7:30pm on Thursday May 26th.
Please note the service will take place in the Garden Room.
There will also be a Facebook video short reflection at 5:30pm everyday during Thy Kingdom Come, starting on the same Thursday.
Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer initiative which takes place between Ascension Day (May 26th) and Pentecost (June 5th)
We are holding a “Songs and Words of Praise” – Café style service next Sunday 29th May 10.00am
Please send us your choice of music – a hymn or a song – or a particular Bible verse which is special to you by Monday 23rd May. If you would be willing to say why you have chosen it, that would be great.
Do come along and invite friends or family to join us!!
Pick and Mix – our youth group for 11-18 year olds meets fortnightly Fridays during term time.
Teens of all faiths and none are very welcome

From Ascension Day (May 26th) to Pentecost (June 5th) we’ll be joining in the Thy Kingdom Come initiative.
Join us at St Catherine’s on Sunday May 22nd to learn more and pick up your prayer journals.
On Friday 3rd June we’re holding a Jubilee Jamboree at St Catherine’s from 2-5pm.
They’ll be lots of fun with Games, Quizzes, Country Dancing, Children’s Crowns, Best Beautiful Hat competition & a Knobbly knees competition.
They’ll be Refreshments. Please bring your own sandwiches. We’ll provide Tea, Cake & Scones.
Why not follow the dress code – Red, White and/or Blue
Friday Friends meets weekly from 2.00 – 4.00pm every Friday, price £3.50 (carers free), offering a mix of talks, light exercise, singing together, table top games or craft activities in a safe, warm and friendly environment – with tea and cakes.
Why not arrive early and enjoy a meal in Café Siena.

3.00 pm – MEDITATIONS on the Cross in Church.
A guided meditation focussing on different aspects of the crucifixion.
6.00 pm – Prayer Vigil for Ukraine
6.00 am – OUTDOOR DAWN SERVICE
Starting outside and livestreamed to Facebook. Followed by sung worship and breakfast indoors
10.00 am – FAMILY COMMUNION
