St Cat’s Lite – Saturday 5th July

Our next ‘St Cat’s Lite’ service, is on Saturday 5th July, where our theme is Peace.

St Cat’s Lite is a fun, informal, all-age service. We start with different craft activities that help us think about the month’s theme. We continue exploring the theme through songs, stories and prayer. We finish with refreshments. While open to anyone of any age, it’s especially popular with children & families.

It usually takes place at St Catherine’s on the first Saturday of the month, starting at 3:30pm. However we’re taking a break in August as we prepare for our Holiday Club!

Everyone is very welcome at this or any of our activities.

Reading Spring Gardens Brass Band concert – Sat 28th June 7pm

We’re delighted to present a night of music from the Reading Spring Gardens Brass Band on Saturday 28th June. starting at 7pm.

Tickets are £12.50, available on the door or in advance (details below).

Light refreshments are served during the interval and are included in the price.

There will also be a raffle.

Friday Friends Programme – June & July ’25

Friday Friends continues to meet from 2.00 – 4.00pm every Friday, price £3.50 (carers free), offering a mix of talks, light exercise, singing together, table top games or craft activities in a safe, warm and friendly environment – with tea and cakes.

Why not arrive early and enjoy a meal in Café Siena.

Thy Kingdom Come 2025

Thy Kingdom Come (TKC) is a global ecumenical prayer movement which starts Thursday 29th May. TKC invites Christians around the world to pray from Ascension to Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus.

During this period, the Garden Room at Church will be set up as a prayer room with interactive stations. Thy Kingdom Come booklets are available in church.

We start TKC with an informal prayer and worship meeting in the Garden Room at 7:30pm on May 29th.

Rocky’s Plaice Holiday Club

We’re pleased to announce that our Holiday Club this year will be “Rocky’s Plaice”. It will take place for three days, Monday 18th – Wednesday 20th August, 10am – 12noon.

Come along for three days of Fun, Craft, Stories, Drama and Song as Chip Shop owner Rocky helps us explore what it means to be followers of Jesus, meeting together in Chip Shop Church.

The cost is £10 per child for the three days, with a reduction for additional children in the family.
