Messy Christingle : 3rd December
This coming Saturday, we are combining our normal Messy Church with our ever popular Christingle service.
Don’t know what a Christingle is ? Come along to find out ! But a clue is that it helps us think about *who* Christmas is about. We’ll be making Christingles together as part of our “Fun, Faith and Food”.
As we look towards who is coming, we’ll also be thinking about those less fortunate than ourselves – particularly those helped by the Children’s Society. We’ll be having a collection in aid of this worthy charity. If you’ve picked up a collection box from St Catherine’s, don’t forget to bring it along.
We’re not providing a hot meal this time, but we hope you’ll stay with us for drinks, cakes & mince pies.
Please join us this coming Saturday 3rd December at 3:30 pm.

Messy Church : 5th November – Fireworks
“Remember, remember the Fifth of November …” because it’s Messy Church Saturday !
We’re using the theme of Fireworks to explore what happened to Jesus’ friends after he’d said Farewell (last month’s theme). Of course we’ll have our usual Fun, Faith and Food …
Fun : We’ll have loads of Fireworks related craft.
Faith : As part of our celebration time, we’ll be using Sparklers outside, so please bring coats, gloves and a hat if you have long hair.
Food : We’re also planning typical fireworks food – Jacket potatoes with beans and/or cheese. Pudding is ice cream and fruit.
The more the merrier, so please invite your friends.
Hope to see you Saturday 5th, 3:30pm at St Catherine’s – try to remember !
