Whether you joined us in August for our ‘Backpackers’ Holiday Club or not, you are all invited to our Holiday Club reunion at Messy Church this coming Saturday 7th September at 3:30pm.
Come and re-live (or newly discover) some of the fun we had at Holiday Club as we travelled around Europe. It will all done in our usual mix of Fun, Faith and Food through Craft, Celebration and a Shared Meal.
We’ll hear what two people learnt about Jesus while they travelled on the road to Emmaus , and our hot meal will be good Backpacking food – Sausages !
We hope to see you Saturday. Bring a friend !
Tots Praise restarts after the summer break on Friday 6th September.
We’ll continue to meet every Friday, 9.15-10.00am in Café Siena within St Catherine’s Church during term time.
Jumping, singing and dancing, Bible story, a simple craft and a prayer followed by refreshments. Time for babies and toddlers, parents and carers to enjoy their own dedicated time of worship and special place to be.

On 6th September , the Rah Rah Theatre will be visiting Friday Friends, at St Catherine’s, to present “Country Roads – Take Me Home”.
Country Road – Take Me Home features Cow Boys and Girls who sing and dance their way through all the Country and Western greatest hits. It is guaranteed to have audiences laughing, singing and possibly even dancing with the cast to the lively score.
All are welcome – please come and join in the fun. The cost is £3.50 to include the usual refreshments.
Friday Friends starts a littler later than normal that week with refreshments at 2:30pm , but you can still arrive early for lunch in the Café. The Café opens at 10:00am, with the lunch menu starting at 12 noon.
The performance starts at 3:30pm.
From Wednesday September 4th, Café Siena will now be open from 8:45am – 12noon.
Why not drop in for a Tea or Coffee, and treat yourself to a slice of cake.

Please join members of the 11am Service for a ‘Send a Cow’ House Party on Wednesday 21st August. See the image below for details of the location & time.
They will be raising money for the charity Send a Cow, which sends farming and educational resources to Africa.
Tea, Coffee, Cakes & other refreshments will be available. We will collect donations for the charity. Cornwell Charity Crafts will have jewellery and other handmade gifts on sale. All profits go to Send a Cow.

Missed “Backpackers” and wondered what it was all about? Came and want to relive some of the fun ?
Here’s a glimpse of the fun that 80 children, helped by over 50 teenage and adult helpers, had at “Backpackers”‘ – this year’s Holiday Club.
As our week long Holiday Club draws to a close, you are all invited to see a recap of the weeks fun and games today (Friday 16th) at 12noon.
Regardless of whether you’ve ordered the subsequent Fish & Chip meal or not, please stay for a while to get a flavour of what our children have been up to through video, song, story & games.
