Holiday Club Service – Sunday August 11th : 10:30am

You are invited to a special Backpackers Holiday Club opening service at St Catherine’s on Sunday 11th August, starting at 10:30am.

You’ll get to see what our children will be doing during the week ahead.  Bring the whole family, all are welcomed, we do hope that you will be able to come.

This is a ‘joint’ service and replaces the normal 9:15am and 11:00am Sunday services.

Messy Church takes a break in August

Just a reminder that Messy Church takes a break in August as we prepare for our week long Holiday Club.

Why not come along to the Holiday Club opening service on Sunday 11th at 10:30am.  They’ll be lots of fun and games regardless of whether you can attend the Holiday Club week or not.

Messy Church will return on Saturday Sept 7th.  We hope to see you then !

Friday Friends Programme – July to September 2019

Friday Friends meets weekly from 2.00 – 4.00pm every Friday, price £3.50 (carers free), offering a mix of talks, light exercise, singing together, tabletop games or craft activities in a safe, warm and friendly environment – with tea and cakes.

Messy Church : Jesus goes Backpacking – Saturday 6th July

This month’s Messy Church is exploring our Holiday Club theme of Backpacking !

At this year’s Holiday Club, we will be thinking about travelling around Europe backpacking.  Jesus also travelled all around the counties near where he lived – although we don’t think he had a rucksack !

At Messy Church this Saturday, through our usual fun mix of crafts, activities, songs & a story, we’ll be finding out some of what Jesus got up to and why he travelled so much.

Backpackers Holiday Club registration forms are now ready. If you haven’t already got one, please collect one from church, or contact us at info@stcatherines-tilehurst.org.uk .

Please return them by 19th July. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
